Welcome to my "Working Elf" pixel tut

I put everything on it's own layer so you can go back and change colors if you wish
I zoom by 1, 2 or 3 times
makes it little easier on the eyes <=)
use your airbrush with these settings
start by opening the Working Elf Canvas in the zip
on it you will find all the layers and the color pallet
have your layer pallet open
the way we will be doing this is to click on one of the outline layers that I have made
and load the selection from disc
then click inside all the parts you outlined with your magic wand
************NOTE************
when you click inside an image with the magic wand, hold down the shift key to select multiple areas
use settings as follows
now click on the color layer
fill with color
selection select all
selection float
selection invert
and apply the following drop shadow
it will always be the same unless I tell you to change the blur
the shadow color will be the outline color
please feel free to do this any way you are most comfortable doing it
don't forget to save your work
OK lets get started!
click on 01 elf_hat_shoe outline layer
load selection from disc
fill with color # 1
click inside with your magic wand all sections of the elf_hat_shoe outline layer
hold down the shift key to select multiple areas
now click on elf_hat_shoe color layer
fill with color # 2
selection select all
selection float
selection invert
apply inverted drop shadow if you wish
shadow color is # 1
deselect
turn OFF all layers but these
merge these 2 layers visible
rename elf_hat_shoe
turn this layer OFF
turn your color pallet layer back on
don't forget to save your work
click on 02 bell outline
load selection from disc
fill with color # 5
click inside with your magic wand all sections of the bell outline layer
hold down the shift key to select multiple areas
now click on bell color layer
fill with color # 6
selection select all
selection float
selection invert
apply inverted drop shadow if you wish
shadow color is # 5
deselect
turn OFF all layers but these
merge these 2 layers visible
rename bell
turn this layer OFF
turn your color pallet layer back on
don't forget to save your work
click on 03 bench outline
load selection from disc
fill with color # 17
click inside with your magic wand all sections of the bench outline layer
hold down the shift key to select multiple areas
now click on bench color layer
fill with color # 18
