Pixel Snowmam
For this tut you will need

Welcome to my "Snowman" pixel tut
I put everything on it's own layer so you can go back and change colors if you wish
I zoom by 2 or 3 times
makes it little easier on the eyes
use your spray can these settings
start by opening the Snowman Canvas in the zip
on it you will find all the layers and the color pallet
have your layer pallet open
the way we will be doing this is to click on one of the outline layers that I have made
and load the selection from alpha channel
then click inside all the parts you outlined with your magic wand
************NOTE************
when you click inside an image with the magic wand, hold down the shift key to select multiple areas
use settings as follows
now click on the color layer
fill with color
selection select all
selection float
selection invert
and apply the following drop shadow
it will always be the same unless I tell you to change the blur
the shadow color will be the outline color
please feel free to do this any way you are most comfortable doing it
don't forget to save your work
OK lets get started!
start by opening the snowman canvas that is in the zip
click on 01 snowman outline layer
load selection from alpha channel
using spray can with these settings
fill the selection with color # 3
click inside with your magic wand all sections of the snowman outline
hold down the shift key to select multiple areas
then click on snowman color layer
fill with color # 4
selection select all
selection float
selection invert
apply inverted drop shadow if you wish
shadow color is # 3
deselect
turn off all layers but these
merge layers visible
rename snowman
turn this layer OFF
turn on your color pallet layer
don't forget to save your work
click on 02 scarf outline layer
load selection from alpha channel
fill the selection with color # 9
click inside with your magic wand all sections of the scarf outline
hold down the shift key to select multiple areas
then click on scarf color layer
fill with color # 10
selection select all
selection float
selection invert
apply inverted drop shadow if you wish
shadow color is # 9
deselect
turn off all layers but these
merge layers visible
rename scarf
turn this layer OFF
turn on your color pallet layer
don't forget to save your work
click on 03 heart outline layer
load selection from alpha channel
fill the selection with color # 5
click inside with your magic wand all sections of the heart outline
hold down the shift key to select multiple areas
then click on heart color layer
fill with color # 6
selection select all
selection float
selection invert
apply inverted drop shadow if you wish
shadow color is # 5
deselect
turn off all layers but these
merge layers visible
rename heart
turn this layer OFF
turn on your color pallet layer
don't forget to save your work
click on 04 hat outline
load selection from alpha channel
fill the selection with color # 1
click inside with your magic wand all sections of the hat outline
hold down the shift key to select multiple areas
then click on hat color layer
fill with color # 2
selection select all
selection float
selection invert
apply inverted drop shadow if you wish
shadow color is # 1
deselect
turn off all layers but these
merge layers visible
rename hat
turn this layer OFF
turn on your color pallet layer
don't forget to save your work
click on 05 top hat outline
load selection from alpha channel
fill the selection with color # 3
click inside with your magic wand all sections of the top hat outline
hold down the shift key to select multiple areas
then click on top hat color layer
fill with color # 4
selection select all
selection float
selection invert
apply inverted drop shadow if you wish
shadow color is # 3
deselect
turn off all layers but these
merge layers visible
rename top hat
turn this layer OFF
turn on your color pallet layer
don't forget to save your work
click on 06 candy cane red outline
load selection from alpha channel
fill the selection with color # 5
click inside with your magic wand all sections of the boot
hold down the shift key to select multiple areas
then click on candy cane red color layer
fill with color # 6
selection select all
selection float
selection invert
apply inverted drop shadow if you wish
shadow color is # 5
deselect
turn off all layers but these
merge layers visible
rename candy cane red
turn this layer OFF
turn on your color pallet layer
don't forget to save your work
click on 07 candy cane white outline
load selection from alpha channel
fill the selection with color # 7
click inside with your magic wand all sections of the candy cane white outline
hold down the shift key to select multiple areas
then click on candy cane white color layer
fill with color # 8
selection select all
selection float
selection invert
apply inverted drop shadow if you wish
shadow color is # 7
deselect
turn off all layers but these
merge layers visible
rename candy cane white
turn this layer OFF
turn on your color pallet layer
don't forget to save your work
click on 08 facial features
load selection from alpha channel
fill the selection with black
rename facial features
turn this layer OFF
turn on your color pallet layer
don't forget to save your work
click on 09 nose shine
load selection from alpha channel
use flood fill tool
fill the selection with white
rename nose shine
turn this layer OFF
turn on your color pallet layer
don't forget to save your work
click on 10 eyes white
load selection from alpha channel
use flood fill tool
fill the selection with white
rename eyes white
turn this layer OFF
you can now delete the color pallet layer
save in PSP format if you wish for later use
